Whoever invented Halloween, deserves a medal. It's one of my favorite times of the year. If you think about it, it's kind of a weird tradition - people dressing up and going door to door to get candy from neighbors and sometimes people you don't even know. I enjoy seeing the little kids in our family. I just returned from a week long work meeting in Atlanta and I was talking to a woman at lunch regarding the great weather in the fall. I mentioned that I would probably pack up and move to Hawaii if it weren't for the fact that I would be leaving family behind. She said that it is just her and her husband and she really could do that. While that might be an amazing adventure, the thought of being away from my family, whom I love so much, would make it very difficult for me. It caused me to ponder . . . I want my immediate family, extended family, Julie & Ava to know how much I love each one of you. Thanks for being a part of my life.

One of the things I love about you most is the way you love your family! Even though Hawaii would be nice, it would just be too far away, and if you moved there I might have to follow cause I couldn't survive long without you. Love you!
