Thinking of my Dad on Father's Day

On this Father's Day I want to remember my dad for the great father that he was to me.  I have many childhood memories of my dad pulling our sled behind the car in the snow up the canyon.  I loved going to the local dump with my dad because I knew that he would stop and get me an ice cream bar on the way back.  My dad earned several different college degrees, including his doctorate when I was 8 years old.  He instilled in us a desire to learn, work hard, be organized and a great love of the gospel. My dad was very faithful in his religious beliefs.  He willingly accepted all callings and served those around him to the best of his ability.  He worked hard and saved wisely to provide a comfortable living and retirement for him and mom.  Thanks, dad, for always being there for me and helping me through difficult times.  I love and miss you very much.  Happy Father's Day!
