An update on the lost luggage . . . When we left SL we checked 3 bags - mine, Julie's and a box of homemade goodies that we were going to deliver to Julie's sister's brother in law who is serving a mission in Costa Rica. The box made it, my bag was somewhere in Atlanta and Julie's was in San Francisco. Yes, you read it right, San Francisco, California. Someone above is watching out for the missionaries because their treats must be more important than our belongings. When I called the airport this morning (and I was not nice) they said that my bag "might" be on the 12:20 pm flight but Julie's is not coming until Monday. We were going to meet Elder Casey at church this morning but we had no church clothes or hair products/makeup, etc. so we arranged to meet him at 6 pm, hoping my bag would come and we could share its contents, get ready and drive the 45 mins to meet him and his comp. We went to the mall so Julie could get a few of her essential lotions and potions that she needed and when we got back to the hotel, my bag had been delivered to our room. We plugged in the GPS location and, for the first time on this trip, drove without any frustration to the park when we were going to meet them. There was a HUGE Catholic church across from the park that was truly amazing with its many spires and vaulted ceilings. Casey and his comp were so cute and they had that missionary glow that is fun to be around. We took a few pics, said our goodbyes and drove back to the hotel and then ate at Outback Steakhouse. YUM! We just mapped out our next 5 days of fun. Stay tuned to the blog for more to come and pray that Julie's bag gets here tomorrow. Love you all.

Getting better but not perfect
